Former is new again

By LINDA MOWERY-DENNING Ellsworth County I-R Ellsworth has changed since Scott Moore left town in 2005 to become Wichita’s assistant city manager of operations. There are a few more residentsand many more businesses along  Kansas Highways 140 and 156. But, after a decade, Moore should have no trouble recognizing his former home when he returns as Ellsworth city administrator. Following a 10-minute executive session Monday night, members of the Ellsworth City Council authorized Mayor John Whitmer to execute an agreement with Moore for his former job There are a few more residents and many more businesses along Kansas Highways 140 and 156.
