Sonic ‘campers’ win free food

Fair supporters deserve congratulations Dear Editor, Another Ellsworth Co. 4-H Fair has come and gone. I would like to congratulate all of the Midway- Ellsworth 4-H members on the hard work they put into the exhibits that were showcased at the fair. The exhibit building was full of By By Alan RuschEllsworth County I-REllsworth’s Melissa Rives was the first of 15 locals to win a coupon book good for one free cheeseburger combo meal a week for a year from Sonic Drivein. All they had to do to claim their prize was camp overnight in one of the 15 interactive stalls at the new Ellsworth Sonic. “I’m a big ‘Black Friday’ shopper,so this is nothing,” Rives said. “I  love it.”The promotion was part of the drive-in’s July 22 local grand opening. Rives had been parked in Stall 1 since 7:30 the night before. “I think it’s awesome,” she said. “I love all their food.” Ten stalls down from Rives, T.J.Renard of Kanopolis waited patiently to claim his coupon
