Geraldine Crow

Geraldine Crow, 84, Holyrood, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Crow was born Jan. 11, 1931, at Mountainburg, Ark., to Samuel and Wilma Dyer Risner. She was a 20-year resident of Holyrood, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lorraine. She married Donald Gene Crow on Jan. 1, 1950, in Clovis, N.M. He died March 18, 1989. Survivors include two sons and their spouses, Allen and Karen Crow of Holyrood and Calvin and Bobby Crow of Bushton; three grandchildren, Justin Crow, Allison Herrman and Alisha Crow; and three great-grandchildren, Silas Herrman, Lydia Herrman and Lachlan Crow. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Samuel Donald Crow; and a sister, Billie Dohrman. A graveside service was Friday, Aug. 7, at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor Zach Ullom officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lorraine, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons. This appeared Aug. 13, 2015, in the Ellsworth County Independent-Reporter.
