Rodeo kicks off Friday night

The El-Kan Western Riders Rodeo Arena south of Ellsworth will be the place Friday and Saturday night for boots and spurs, buckin’ saddle brocs and lots of action and fun for young and old alike. “We’re really looking forward to it,” said Clint Donley, of the El-Kan Western Riders, sponsor of the annual event. “We do things all summer to get ready to have this rodeo. The town seems to like it — everyone comes out to support it.”
