African trip motivates Ellsworth teen

A recent two-week mission trip to volunteer at a daycare/ preschool in South Africa not only amazed a 19-yearold Ellsworth teen — it motivated her to do even more to help the less fortunate. “It was humbling to see, because the kids are literally starving in front of you,” said Kailee Landon, the daughter of Tina Landon and Jeff Landon, both of Ellsworth, and a 2014 graduate of Ellsworth Junior-Senior High School. “We’re so blessed for what we have and we take everything for granted.”
