Leading the Way

FORT BENNING, Ga. — U.S. Army Capt. Kristen Griest and First Lt. Shaye Haver made history Aug. 21 as the first women to complete the Army’s grueling 61-day Ranger Course at Fort Benning, Ga., and earn the coveted yellow and black Ranger tab. Their accomplishment exemplified the Ranger motto: “Rangers Lead the Way!”
