MARQUETTE TRIBUNE - Charlene G. Jimerson

     Charlene G. Jimerson, 60, of Marquette, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Riverview Estates in Marquette. She was the former activities director at Riverview Estates.
     Charlene was born on Feb. 14, 1955 in Great Bend, the daughter of Charles and Marilyn (Smiley) Lyons. Her family moved around a lot during her lifetime, and she lived in Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, and South Dakota. She graduated from Cheney High School in 1973. On March 23, 1974, she was united in marriage to Marty R. Jimerson in Stafford. This union was blessed with three children, Michael Dean, Mandy D. and Chad A. Jimerson.  
     She leaves behind two children, Mandy (Doug) Kutina of McPherson, and Chad (Barb) Jimerson of Wichita; five grandchildren, Stasha, Cross, Erin, Brooklyn, and Austin; siblings, Sherry Mayer of Stafford, Dennis (Charlene) Lyons of Cheney, Susan (Dennis) Mayer of Stafford, Chester (Marla) Lyons of Stafford, KS and Tyrone Lyons of Stafford; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Michael Dean.
     Visitation will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015 at Riverview Estates, Marquette.  
     Graveside service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 2, at Stafford Cemetery.
