WILSON --- The Wilson Dragons were defeated 56-6 in a Homecoming football game by the Chase Kats. The Kats controlled the line of scrimmage for both quarters of the game.

 

It was also the first 8-man 1A Division II District 2 game of the season pitting the only unbeaten varsity teams in the district. Chase is now the only unbeaten team in the District 2 race.

 

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Ellsworth Bearcats clawed to a 32-25 victory over the Lions in Minneapolis in an exciting game that was tied 18-18 at the half.

 

The ‘Cats pulled to a 20-18 lead on the first play of the second half with a safety.

 

GALVA --- The second-ranked 2A  Central Plains Oilers were far too powerful for the struggling Eagles, plucking the birds to a 52-0 score by the end of the second quarter.
