Jared Paul Langston

     Jared Paul Langston, 35, Holyrood, Kan., returned to his heavenly home Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, passing away in Weld County, Colo.
     Jared was born Oct. 29, 1979 at Great Bend, Kan. to Roger and Joyce (Bauvso) Langston. A resident of Holyrood, he was a self-employed pilot, attending school at Kansas State University in Salina, studying to become a commercial pilot. He served in the United States Air Force for 12 years. He was a member of the LDS Church in Great Bend, Alpha Eta Rho, a fraternity for pilots; and the Holyrood Fire Department. He also served as an assitant scout master for Great Bend Troop 7111, and a motorcycle safety instructor.
     Jared married Allison Baird April 20, 2002, at Woods Cross, Utah. She survives of the home.
     Other survivors include two sons, Jeremy Paul Langston and Ryan James Langston, both of the home; his father, Roger, and step-mother, Brenda Langston, of Holyrood; his mother, Joyce, and step-father, Steve Craig Schnittker of Rockaway Beach, Mo.; one sister, Stephanie Langston of Nixa, Mo.; one step-sister, Mandi and her husband Keith Griffin of Manhattan, Kan.; two step-brothers, Jason Fanatia and Chris Fanatia, both of Portland, Ore.; grandparents, Bob and Ellen Langston of Holyrood and Melva Crawford of Great Bend; grandparents-in-law, Beverly and Lee VanVleet of St. George, Utah; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alan and Susan Baird of Woods Cross, Utah; and brother-in-law, Mike and his wife Jamie Baird of Woods Cross, Utah.
     Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, with family present from 4 to 6 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend.
     Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home. Internment will be Saturday, Oct. 24, in the Bountiful Cemetery in Boutntiful, Utah.
