Sharon Lee Sanchez

Sharon Lee Sanchez, 67, passed away at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, Oct. 15, 2015.

She was born Nov. 14, 1947 to Lewis Richard and Lily Mae (Lowery) Harden in Bremerton, Wash. She was a Washington resident for most of her life. Later in life she moved to Kansas where she worked locally as a paraeducator for the school in Chase. She was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church, Bushton, and an organizer for the Rice Co. Center on Aging. She loved to craft, crochet and spend time with her pets.

She is survived by sons, Lewis Young, Lee Young, Michael Young, William Young, Alex Young; daughters, Angie Default and Sarah Delp; and a brother Richard Harden. Other survivors include 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at Salem United Methodist Church, Bushton, with Rev. Janet Myers presiding. There will be no burial following the service.
