Sharon Suzanne Lindenmeyer

Sharon Suzanne Lindenmeyer, 73, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 in Salina. She was born, April 5, 1942, in Kingman to Francis and Bernice (Wyssenbach) Smysor.

Sharon was a longtime resident of Ellsworth where she was an educator and a homemaker. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church and active with the United Methodist Women. She married Duane L. Lindenmeyer, June 6, 1965, in Ellsworth. He preceded her in death in 2004.

Sharon is survived by daughter, Karen (Mark) Hunter of Fairhope, Ala.; sons, Dan (Julie) Lindenmeyer of Newton, and Scott (Audrey) Lindenmeyer of Hays; grandchildren, Jacob, Addison, Sofia, Maggi, and Cooper; and brother, Francis Smysor of Lawrence.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at United Methodist Church, Ellsworth. Burial is 3 p.m., Monday at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
