HOME, SWEET HOME

It’s almost always a good thing when the governor visits and offers kind words about the type of programs taking place in our community. That’s what happened this past week when Gov. Sam Brownback toured the Ellsworth Correctional Facility and thanked city and county officials for the partnership they have forged with the prison. He also recognized several companies that use inmate labor to supplement their workforce.
