SOLOMON --- In the battle of the second and third-ranked 2A teams in the state, the Central Plains Oilers were far too powerful for the Gorillas of Solomon, smashing their way to a convincing 46-14 win in Solomon.
The Oilers will play 3-5 Gossel Thursday, Oct. 29 in Claflin to officially claim the 2A District 5 title.
WILSON --- Centre-Lost Springs stunned the Wilson Dragons 54-8 in an 8-man 1A Division II District 2 contest in Wilson.
ELLSWORTH -- The Lions of Lyons got a 21-13 win over the Bearcats Friday at Ellsworth in a 3A District 15 game
