Butterflies are forever on the McCoy rural Home Place

I can’t remember exactly why I was at the farm one late September Saturday afternoon in 1976, but it probably had something to do with dove hunting. Anyway, as I pulled into the tree-lined drive of the Home Place, the airspace above the road exploded into orange and black swirls.
