CLAFLIN --- The second-ranked 2A Central Plains Oilers were far too powerful for the Goessel, rolling to a 50-0 win in Claflin.

 

The Oilers will play Kiowa County in the first round of the 8-man Division I playoffs at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Claflin.

 

The undefeated and top-ranked 2A Lady Oilers volleyball team will play Smith Center at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the State volleyball tournament in Emporia. The Lady O’s placed third last season at the 2A State tournament.

 

Good luck to both teams in post-season play.

 

TESCOTT --- The Wilson Dragons beat Tescott 70-20, forcing the officials to call the game with 45 seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter.

 

ELLSWORTH -- The Bearcats ended their season with a 41-38 win over the Sterling Black Bears in Sterling.
