Construction project uncovers historic rocks

They look like two pieces of ordinary rock, the kind you can find on a walk along almost any street in Ellsworth. In fact, these rocks are anything but ordinary. They’re actually pieces of the town’s first modern sidewalk, which in its heyday was considered “the finest between Ellsworth and Kansas City.”
