NOTICE OF HEARING ON PETITION TO ATTACH LANDS
TO RURAL WATER DISTRICT NO. 1
ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS
To whom it may concern and especially to the owners of land located within the boundaries of the proposed attachment to Rural Water District No. 1, Ellsworth County, Kansas, hereinafter described.
You are hereby notified that a petition, addressed to the Board of County Commissioners of Ellsworth County, Kansas, has been filed in my office praying for an order attaching the land described below to Rural Water District No. 1, Ellsworth County, Kansas, under the authority of Kansas Statutes Annotated 82a-612 et seq., as amended, to-wit:
The boundaries of the land proposed to be attached to Rural Water District No. 1, Ellsworth County, Kansas, are described by metes and bounds as follows, all of such land being in Ellis County, Kansas:
See Exhibit "A", attached hereto.
Hearing on said petition will be held the 23rd day of November, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Commission Chambers of the Ellsworth County Courthouse, Ellsworth, Kansas, at which time and place all owners of land within said boundaries may appear and be heard.
A rural water district shall have no power or authority to levy any taxes whatsoever.
