SPEARVILLE — The top-ranked 8-man Division I Royal Lancers of Spearville ended the second-ranked Central Plains Oilers’ football season with a convincing 58-28 win Saturday in Spearville. Central Plains won the coin-toss and elected to kick the ball. The Lancers drove the ball down field with hard running by Luke Heskamp and quarterback Nathan Stein and found the goal line on a 3-yard run with 8:22 left in the first period. The Lancers tacked on the PAT points for an 8-0 lead.
