City of Marquette purchases MES building

The Smoky Valley USD 400 Board of Education met for their regular monthly meeting Monday evening, Nov. 9 in the district office. Members gave final approval to the sale of the Marquette school building, kitchen equipment and the bus barn to the City of Marquette for the purchase price of $1. The city will take possession of the property on Dec. 4, 2015.
