Davis: The VA is worth saving

American Legion National Midwest Region Vice Commander Al Davis believes the care America’s veterans receive at Veterans Administration facilities nationwide is improving — but could be better. “We are making inroads,” Davis said Nov. 12 during a visit to Ellsworth American Legion Post 174. “They have a lot of issues in some locations, but in many locations the VA is doing an excellent job. Each individual facility is different — some have different challenges than others.”
