Lorraine utility account change

LORRAINE — The Lorraine City Council approved language at its Nov. 17 meeting establishing requirements for new residential utility accounts. Under the proposal, patrons will be required to pay a deposit equal to two months of their water/sewer/trash bill rounded to the next $5. Lorraine City attorney Theresa Staudinger will present a draft ordinance of the measure at the council’s Dec. 15 meeting.
