Festive Fundraiser

A small group of self-described “friends of the Ellsworth County Medical Center” are celebrating the Christmas season of giving in a special way — by raising funds to purchase equipment for the hospital. The group, led by Bernadine Bachman, plans a festive holiday gathering/open house from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the historic Huycke House, 516 N. Lincoln, in Ellsworth. The public is invited.
