GENESEO — Dawnyel Gustus and Josh Smith of Geneseo are trying their best to make this Christmas a merry one for their three children — Nicholas Smith, 12; Gabriel Gustus, 9; and Adrian Smith, 6. That could be difficult — even for St. Nick — because the family lost everything when their home was destroyed in a Dec. 14 fire.
