Foundation accepting applications for more than $70,000 in grants

The Smoky Hills Charitable Foundation has more than $70,000 available in its 2016 spring grants program for Ellsworth County non-profit organizations and projects. Application deadline is March 15 and awards will be announced in April. Directors issued a call this past week for applications to the Community Grant Fund, the Healthy Living Fund/Kansas Health Foundation (KHF) Fund for Ellsworth County, and the Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund.
