Christmas fun yields $25K

A simple Christmas tradition has led to a $25,000 grand prize for Lorraine native Jessica (Pacey) Neeland, 27, of Radium, granddaughter of Larry and Irene Pacey of Ellsworth. “I’m still in shock,” said Neeland in a recent telephone interview with the Independent-Reporter. Every year for Christmas, Larry Pacey purchases a variety of Kansas Lottery instant scratch tickets for his family members.
