Lady Bearcats fight through injuries

BELLEVILLE — The Lady Buffaloes of Republic County downed the Lady ‘Cats of Ellsworth, 48-27, Friday in a North Central Activities Association contest at Belleville. The Lady ‘Cats are a young team this season, competing in the super-tough North Central Activities Association which has three 3A teams — Minneapolis, Southeast of Saline and Beloit ranked in the top 10 in the state by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association.
