ST. JOHN — The top-ranked 2A and undefeated Central Plains Oilers achieved a milestone for the five-year-old program by winning the tough 48th annual St. John Winter Classic basketball tournament Saturday in St. John. The victory was doubly sweet for the Oilers, as they beat the fourth-ranked and defending 2A champion St. John-Hudson Tigers by a score of 51-38.
