Taxes — good or bad? As public servants in your Johnson and Wyandotte County communities, we understand no one “likes” paying taxes. But like you, our friends, businesses, neighbors and constituents, we want to live in a highquality community, with good streets, enviable public safety, bountiful parks and recreation opportunities, and outstanding schools. That means taxes. Too often today, though, it’s easier for someone to simply blame “big government” and “taxes” for about everything that goes badly.
