Central Plains defeats Concordia

CLAFLIN — The top-ranked 2A and undefeated Central Plains Oilers defeated seventh-ranked 4A Division II Concordia Saturday at the Oilerdome in Claflin. The teams battled hard in the first quarter, with Jake Warnken’s bucket towards the end of the period giving Central Plains a 10-9 lead. However, the Panthers scored at the buzzer to have an 11-10 lead at the end of the period.
