NOTICE OF HEARING
THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS CONCERNED:
You are hereby notified that a Petition for Determination of Descent has been filed in this court by a surviving spouse of Diane K. Nelson, namely, Terry Nelson, praying that descent be determined to the following described real estate situated in Ellsworth County, Kansas:
Beginning at a point fifty (50) feet west of the
Northeast corner of Lot Thirteen (13), Block One
(1), in Somer’s Addition to the City of Wilson,
Kansas, as a place of beginning; Thence south
on a line parallel with the east line of said Lot
One hundred forty-seven (147) feet; thence
west twenty-five (25) feet to west line of said
Lot; thence north one hundred and
forty-seven (147) feet along the west side of said
Lot thirteen (13) to the north line of said Lot;
thence east along the north line twenty-five
(25) feet to the place of beginning. Also a
fraction of Lot Fourteen (14) described as
follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of
said Lot Fourteen (14); thence south along
the east line of said Lot One hundred and
forty-seven (147)feet; thence west on a line
parallel with the north line of said Lot Fourteen
(14) 15 feet; thence north on a line parallel with
the east line of said Lot One hundred and
forty-seven (147) feet to the north line; thence
east along the north line fifteen (15) feet or to
the northeast corner of said Lot Fourteen (14),
Block One (1), Somer’s Addition to the City of
Wilson, Kansas. The above described tract
conveyed being in the aggregate a parcel of
ground forty (40) feet by one hundred and
forty-seven (147) feet in said Somer’s Addition
to the City of Wilson, Kansas.
and that all personal property and all other real estate owned by the decedent at the time of death be assigned pursuant to the laws of intestate succession.
You are required to file your written defenses thereto on or before March 8, 2016, at 9:00 A.M. in the Ellsworth County District Court, Ellsworth County Courthouse, 210 N. Kansas Avenue, Ellsworth, Kansas 67439, at which time and place the cause will be heard. Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon the petition.
