ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Bearcats beat Lincoln, 50-32, in a non-conference game at Ellsworth. The ‘Cats took control of the game in the third quarter.
The Lady ‘Cats got a first quarter lead and held on to get a 43-39 win over the Lady Leopards, who threatened to tie the game in the final minute of play.
KINSLEY — The top-ranked and undefeated 2A Central Plains Oilers beat the Coyotes 82-25 in a Central Prairie League game in Kinsley.
The top-ranked, undefeated and two-time defending champion 2A Lady Oilers of Central Plains had to work to defeat a scrappy and young Lady Coyote club, but got the job done with a 51-42 victory.
WILSON — The Lady Dragons were defeated, 45-31, by Pike Valley in Wilson.
The Panthers beat the Wilson Dragons by a score of 55-32 in the boys’ game.
