Haase qualifies for State wrestling tournament

BELOIT — Bearcat 195-pound grappler Ethan Haase qualified to wrestle in the 3A-2A-1A State wrestling tournament by winning the quarter-finals match of the championship bracket Friday at the regional tournament in Beloit.

Haase will wrestle in the championship match Saturday in Beloit, following the results of the consolation brackets.

The balance of the Ellsworth squad will be grappling in the consolation brackets. Wrestling begins at 11 a.m. in Beloit.
