Saturday's 2A-State tournament results

LADY OILERS THREE-PEAT

MANHATTAN — The Lady Oilers of Central Plains whipped a good Olpe team, 62-51, March 12 to claim their third consecutive 2A State basketball championship trophy in Manhattan.

The Lady O’s took control of the game early in the first quarter and never looked back.

The Oilers placed third in the tournament , defeating Hill City 56-25.

The O-men also took control of the game early in the first quarter and by the four-minute mark of the second period, the outcome was never in doubt.
