ORDINANCE NO. 3067

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP IN THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, ELLSWORTH COUNTY, KANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, KANSAS:
WHEREAS, the following described land is currently within city limits of the City of Ellsworth, Kansas, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Ellsworth, Kansas, finds it advisable to update the zoning area described;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF ELLSWORTH, KANSAS:
That the Zoning Map for the City of Ellsworth is amended so as to include the following described tracts of land.  Said Zoning Amendment shall be reflected on the map entitled “Zoning Map of the City of Ellsworth.”

Zoning Classification - R3:

Beginning at the South line to the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter (NW ¼) of Section Twenty Nine (29), which is also the centerline of Highway K-14; thence South along said centerline a distance of four hundred thirty (430.00’) feet; thence West a distance of fifty  (50.00’) feet to the East right-way line of the Armory and Ball Fields Addition which point is also on the West right-of-way of Highway K-14; thence South along said West right-of-way line a distance of four hundred sixty (460.00’) feet; thence West twenty five (25.00’) to the West right-way line of Highway K-14; thence South along said West right-of-way line a distance of three thousand five hundred thirty (3,530.00’) feet; thence continuing on a curve of one thousand eight hundred thirty five and eight hundredths (1,835.08’) feet in radius to the right to a point 35 feet North and 274 feet West of the Southeast corner of the southwest quarter of Section Twenty Nine (29); thence West paralleling the South section line of said section a distance of two thousand three hundred sixty six (2,366.00’) feet to the southwest corner of Section Twenty Nine (29); thence north two thousand six hundred five (2,605.00’) feet to a point on the Center section line of Section Twenty Nine (29); thence East one thousand seven hundred ninety (1,790.00’) feet to a point eight hundred and fifty (850’) feet West of the north east corner of the southwest quarter of Section Twenty Nine (29); thence North seven hundred ninety five (795’) feet to the South line of Canren Addition; thence West to the Southwest corner of Canren Addition; thence North one thousand two hundred sixty (1,260.00) feet to a point one thousand one hundred (1,100.00’) feet west of the centerline of Highway K-14

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official city paper.
