Can we expect a long, hot summer?

Think of winter in Kansas and the image of a rolling prairie covered by a blanket of snow typically comes to mind. Or — considering this past season’s lack of moisture — perhaps a blanket of green or brown. Or even red, in the case of the Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Bob Kepka said 2016 has been a busy year.
