Ag economy furloughs Great Plains

Great Plains Manufacturing plans to close the doors to its Ellsworth plant for four weeks beginning April 11. The decision comes as sluggish commodity markets in the United States and abroad fall to some of their lowest levels in the past decade, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
