The re-constructed Ellsworth Junior/Senior High school tennis courts passed their 28-day structural integrity test Monday, allowing the school board to direct district superintendent Dale Brungardt to “green light” the final phase of the construction, applying the playing surface. Brungardt showed the board the final pressure tests results at Monday’s meeting of the board. The tests came in at 5-6,000 per-square-inch. The architectural specifications for the project were for 4,000 pounds-per-square-inch.
