Ellsworth County voters have a busy summer ahead of them if they want to be prepared for the local primary election in August and the general election in November. There’s all kinds of things happening at the federal and state levels. Hillary. The Donald. It should be quite a show. In Kansas, Gov. Sam Brownback isn’t on the ballot, but every House and Senate seat in the Kansas Legislature is up for grabs. Will the voters of Kansas support incumbent Republicans out of habit or will they finally realize that just because a candidate has an “R” after his name, it doesn’t mean he or she knows how to govern?
