No more school days

So much has changed in the last 28 years when it comes to teaching students that it is difficult to even remember what the first few years of their lives as educators entailed. Long days and hard nights are the lot of those who have chosen careers in education. Whether it is preparing lesson plans for the next day’s classes, sponsoring any one of the countless extra-curricular activities provided to students, or simply grading papers — it is easy to imagine how time seems to have simply flown by for the Ellsworth- Kanopolis-Geneseo School District teachers and staff who will retire after the 2015-16 school year draws to its close.
