VOTE! Many prefer to see fewer people vote. Our state election officer, Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, comes to mind. Personally, I would like to see more people voting; hence, the following reminder and a suggestion for consideration. Reminder: Wednesday, June 1, is the last day to register to vote in the Aug. 2 primary. Do not wait until the last day to register. Thanks to our Kansas Secretary of State, one may encounter some difficulty in registering. By registering early, most surprise problems can be fixed in time to meet the registration deadline. Our county clerk’s office will help registrants navigate any hurdles that might appear.
