Hickel places seventh

SALINA — Oiler Alex Hickel won the seventh-place medal Monday at the 2A State golf tournament at the tough Salina Country Club golf course. It was a stormy spring morning in Salina. Officials stopped play about 30 minutes after the 8:30 a.m. start due to a storm. The tournament resumed at about 11 a.m. Hickel turned in a score of 79 strokes for the day.
