The responsibility is ours

A friend and reader made a fair point regarding my commentary: it tends towards the negative. I will not try to dodge the charge. In this instance, I will begin with some good news for Kansans interested in state government and hoping for positive change. June 1 was the deadline for filing for elective office with the Kansas Secretary of State. By my count at least one Democrat has filed for all 40 Kansas Senate seats and at least one Democrat has filed for 94 of the 125 Kansas House seats.
