Ellsworth County wheat harvest begins

The first load of wheat in Ellsworth County was delivered to the Ellsworth Co-op elevator in Holyrood Saturday at 5:20 p.m.

With harvest underway, motorists should take extra caution on the county’s roads as farmers and custom cutters move their large machinery to reap the harvest.
