Get ready for an Explosive! weekend
Ellsworth’s Star Spangled Spectacular scheduled for Saturday, June 25, is going to be a busy, fun-filled day with a variety of activities to interest one and all. The day will begin with the third annual Scout Spirit 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by the Boy Scouts of Troop 84. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., with the event beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 405 N. Lincoln. The entry fee is $20 if paid by June 15 and $25 from then until the start of the race. Each pre-registered participant will receive a Scout Spirit Freedom Spirit shirt. Late registrants will receive shirts while supplies last. There will be an awards ceremony at the conclusion of the races.
