Adding to the Fleet
The Marquette Fire Department Board recently approved the purchase of a vehicle to be used for fire and rescue. On Monday, June 27, Fire Chief/EMS Director Jim Unruh could be found preparing the vehicle for use. The new vehicle, a retired ambulance, is white with red stripes that run the length of sides in addition to the Marquette Fire and Rescue emblem on both sides with emergency lights that will be used by the Marquette Fire Department as a first response vehicle to large fires.
