Forum draws crowd

Drugs. Juvenile justice. County roads. About 75 people attended a candidate forum July 7 in the community room of the Ellsworth Municipal Golf Course to hear about those issues and many more. The two-hour event, organized by the Ellsworth County Independent-Reporter, focused on candidates with opposition in the Aug. 2 primary. Advance voting started Wednesday in the courthouse office of the Ellsworth County clerk.
