Story Walk brings books, exercise and family together

Parents can get some exercise and help their children learn to read thanks to Story Walk, a project introduced by Ellsworth's Midway Extension's Family and Consumer Sciences agent Jamie Rathbun this summer at Krizek Park. Along the walking trail at the Ellsworth park, Rathbun has placed pages of a children’s book on yard signs, so children or their parents can read a complete book while enjoying the fresh air and the health benefits of a leisurely stroll.
