Local fire department hosts school
The Marquette Fire Department hosted the Kansas Fire Fighter Association (KSFFA) Regional Fire School on July 9 and 10. The Marquette School was the location of the classroom part of the two-day event. Extrication was offered at the ball fields and water rescue was featured at the river bridge west of Marquette, to name a few of the school’s learning sites.
