This summer is the first year for Ellsworth volunteers to offer meals

Ellsworth First Presbyterian Church pastor Amy Jo Hawley thinks that the name of the summer lunch program project, Kids Eat Free, needs a little re-branding. “The kids have voted to call it ‘Party in the Park’ next summer,” she said. “Basically, it’s a program that we — all of our churches in the community — have worked together to be able to provide lunches, free of charge, to any child in our community.”
