Two All-Star softball teams place third

Two area All-Star Babe Ruth softball teams placed third in their respective regional tournaments over the past weekend. The 10-years-of-age and younger team, comprised of girls from Ellsworth, Central Plains and Hoisington won the State title July 15-17 in Caney, earning a slot to compete in the Lexington Mo. regional tournament.
